What is the PERFECT number of points?

You have to remember that the "perfect" number of points does not always have the "perfect" amount of annual due to pay!!!!!

We have bought 400 points but as we are from the UK we figured we needed to take longer trips. The flights are very expensive and do not work out for smaller trips. Perhaps in the future we may try some 8 or 9 day trips instead of our usual 14 days and get two in a year in the cheaper season.

Looking forward to all those trips!

If memory serves (if not, I'm sure someone will correct me), the maximum amount of points an individual can own is 2000.

Therfore, the "perfect" number of points would be 4,000. (2000 for me and 2000 for my DF).

The "perfect" number of points is whatever would maximize my stay at WDW!

It's 2000 per resort per person and 5000 max per person. There are ways around this it appears and does not necessarily preclude resale purchases above the "limits"

Just curious if Disney is the only one to break up contracts how 115 points at SSR can be for sale at TTS?

Someone can buy an add-on to an original contract for as few as 25 points. After we first purchased, we bought a 25 point contract as an add-on ourselves. So that is probably someone's add-on contract.
