What is the one kitchen appliance that you love and could never do without? Why do you love it so much?

:cool2:

I am soooooo jealous. I've always wanted one of those. Perhaps I can come over and borrow yours??? :car:

I take it you mean big or small appliances. I couldn't live without my dishwasher. It saves me from putting my hands in slimy water and getting dishpan hands.

They are all vital! I guess my Kitchen-aid is the one I use the most.:goodvibes I love baking cookies and cakes and this does the trick. I have a tiny kitchen but the Kitchen-aid gets a place on the counter.

Also, the coffee maker is an important appliance used daily!!! Love my coffee.

I have a Kitch-Aid mixer and I could definitely live without it. Don't get me wrong, I love it but it's no where near the most important appliance in my arsenal.

I love breakfast and I love cooking without oils and fats so I couldn't live without my $20 Rival griddle. I make so many different kinds of foods on there and I don't have to add any kind of oils to make it so my food doesn't stick thus making it healthier.

Also, it's so easy to make breakfast on that thing that I have breakfast practically every morning... 2 eggs over easy, a couple strips of turkey bacon and a banana... yum.

assuming getting to keep the fridge, oven and stove is a given:

when I lived in the USA it was my kitchen Aid Stand mixer. I sued it several times a week for 10 years and loved it.

Here in the land of no ice (AKA Germany) it is my counter top ice makes DH bought for me:love:

Funny story (note I am not slamming Germans--I love it here but this is one of the mildly annoying, mostly amusing things that comes up when you are a Stranger in a strange land): Many Germans believe it is actually unhealthy to drink a beverage with ice in it:confused3 I like a LOT of ice (as in "would you liek some water with your ice":lmao:). This summer I was stopped by perfect strangers on the street SEVERAL times and and "lectured" about how unhealthy my drink (ice water or Coke on ice) was because of the ice. Twice the lecturer was smoking. Really? You smoke and feel my ice is worthy of a lecture? :rotfl2:

I will assume the microwave/stove/refrigerator are givens. Next would be our Keurig. It is a newer addition to our kitchen but I don't know how we lived without it  Second would be my crockpot....I am making more and more in that thing!

My toaster oven :lovestruc it is perfect for just me when DF is away, and great for making sides for the two of us when he is home.

I love my crockpot! It makes things so easy. I never buy canned beans anymore and it has saved me money $$. Also have made delicious homemade yogurt in it before and other hot yummy dishes!

My one-cup coffeemaker.. I can't stomach coffee that has been sitting for more than 10 minutes..:thumbsup2

The Keurig! :worship: (Next would be the toaster... for toast for breakfast with coffee from my Keurig! :goodvibes)

I bought a super nice KitchenAid mixer 3 Christmases ago. It was turned on to mix the sweet potatoes and...first time using it, blew them ALL OVER THE KITCHEN!!! Hasn't been used since. :sad2: I really should donate it to someone who knows how to bake.

So, the item I really do love is my Calphalon dutch oven. I like Calphalon even better than the pieces of All Clad I have. :thumbsup2

My crockpot for sure. 4 of 7 meals are made in it during the week. When I get home from work, I just have to make rice or pasta and Viola...DINNER!

For those wanting a kitchen aid mixer, Walmart has them on sale for black Friday. $130, originally $299!! Not a bad deal!
