Lets face it, we can't be peaches and cream all our lives. Once in a while you just want to lash out at conformity and do something different-usually to spite either someone or something that bugs you.
So what have you done to march to the beat of a different drummer?
I'll start..
When I was a freshman in high school, I got really tired of the less than challenging curricula and also of being good. I had been a quiet good girl for many years and saw this as an opportunity to do something different. Boy did I! I dyed my hair blue, which turned green within 2 days from not doing it right, I skipped school all the time and started dating the scariest guy in school. It was so much fun! My parents went bezerk and I kept getting detention at school. I started hanging with the goth kids, who ended up being awesome people and true friends (some of them) and 2 of them are still my closest friends today.
It didn't last long, because I eventually mellowed out, but it was fun while it lasted! I gave my mom lots of grief during that time, but I made it up to her by taking her to WDW!
So that was my mst rebellious moment! Mine was more of a lifestyle change than a specific event, but I want to hear yours, whether it was a single thing or a moment of insanity-whatever! Please share!
