Lets face it, we can't be peaches and cream all our lives. Once in a while you just want to lash out at conformity and do something different-usually to spite either someone or something that bugs you.

So what have you done to march to the beat of a different drummer?

I'll start..

When I was a freshman in high school, I got really tired of the less than challenging curricula and also of being good. I had been a quiet good girl for many years and saw this as an opportunity to do something different. Boy did I! I dyed my hair blue, which turned green within 2 days from not doing it right, I skipped school all the time and started dating the scariest guy in school. It was so much fun! My parents went bezerk and I kept getting detention at school. I started hanging with the goth kids, who ended up being awesome people and true friends (some of them) and 2 of them are still my closest friends today.
It didn't last long, because I eventually mellowed out, but it was fun while it lasted! I gave my mom lots of grief during that time, but I made it up to her by taking her to WDW!

So that was my mst rebellious moment! Mine was more of a lifestyle change than a specific event, but I want to hear yours, whether it was a single thing or a moment of insanity-whatever! Please share!

Got a tattoo? :confused3 That's about the most exciting/rebellious thing I've ever done, but I was 22 when I got it. :rotfl: Oh well.

Nothing much. When I was 16, I pierced my own ear after my mother told me no. Came home one night, iced it down, soaked a couple of piercing studs in alcohol, and popped them through. 2 piercings. My mother didn't notice for a week.

Not to much here.

When I was 14 I was caught egging a house with a bunch of friends.

When I was 16 I was brought into the police station on suspicion of blowing up a federal mailbox. What actually happened, and I had to tell the police and my parents this, was that my girlfriend at the time and my best friend and his girlfriend were sneaking into the local country club pool in the middle of the night to skinny dip. The police found my mom's car (which we snuck out) and called her asking if she knew where we were. Luckily my dad was out of town at the time. The federal mailbox was blown up in our vicinity at the same time so they blamed me. Since we didn't do it, no charges ever came of it.

In college it was just an earring and tattoo.

After college I moved to Indonesia to work. And what happened in Indonesia stays in Indonesia.

Not sure how old but in highschool was crank calling pizza joints and had the pizza deliever to the house aross the street because noone was home. We gave my house number because we knew this pizza place had caller id well they call back and was like nobody is home and that the cops were on the way to my house. by this time we had already order pizza from another joint to come to my house so we can eat it. The cops came and my mom had to pay for the pizza and ginders that we order i think it was like three pizzas.

oh and one more I got pregnant with dd at 17. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

You should have heard the AWESOME pop it made when I did the cartilage one. To this day, I haven't forgotten that sound.

I'm a complete masochist. I have 3 tattoos and I look forward to getting more - I actually like the feel of the needle... :rolleyes1

I dyed my hair pink, and got 8 piercings the year I was 15.

6 years on, I have blonde hair and no piercings!! :rotfl2:

This one time...At band camp...
NO! That's someone else's story!

Once when I was 16, I told my parents I was staying at my friend's (We'll call her Ann to protect her identity :thumbsup2 ), and she told hers she was staying at my place.

She drove, I did not yet have my license...
We ended up at an all-night kegger, she wound up passed out in some guy's bedroom, and I had no way to get to work the next morning! (It was my first job at K-Mart :rotfl: )

SOOO...I took the bus to work, and didn't hear anything more from Ann...
UNTIL...my mom calls me at work and asks "Where's Ann, and, more importantly, where did you stay last night?!?!?" OOPS!! :sad2:

You see, Ann never showed up at home...(too hung-over to get home) So her dad called my mom and asked when Ann would be coming home. And my mother said "I thought they were.." Well, you can imagine the rest of the conversation...

My mom CAME TO K-MART...Dragged me off my register, explained to my supervisor that I would not be finishing my shift, and proceeded to lay out in detail how my life from that moment forward would not be a very pleasant one... :rolleyes1

HMMMM...those were the days...

I went through a piercing phase. I had a DS when I was 19, so this was my delayed rebellion.

Became a Nudist :thumbsup2 :cool1: :cool1: :teeth:

Got my DF to become a Nudist :cool1:

Got married, bought a house, had kids in that order. That was a rebelion compared to people I went to school with :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

There's too many to name but here's 2 things. A lot of things I did was more of an experimental thing. Like the time when I was 9, me and my best friend started a fire outside and it got out of control. We thought we were helping by throwing sand on it not realizing it only made it bigger. The fire trucks came so we started walking away only to be confronted by 2 cops in their car. They told us to get in the car and we're standing there shaking our heads no. So finally I get in first but both of us left the door open in case they decide to pull off, we can make a run for it. Anyway, we made up this story about us walking and saw this fire and tried to put it out. They believed us and let us go. Boy, was that scary at the time. I just recently told my mom about that and she had this look on her face like she wanted to kill me.

I use to always pull the fire alarm in school. When they were trying to find out who kept doing it, they put black tar on the handle. One day I forgot it was on there and pulled it again only to find tar on my hands. I ran in the bathroom and scrubbed my hands. After that I made sure I use a tissue before pulling it. :rotfl:
