What is the most beautiful name you've ever heard?

I know you're looking for names for your baby.... but the most beautiful name I've encountered was a young native american girl named Whispering Wind!

Also a close friend of mine is named Seung.

I'm always so surprised to see this name used as a first name, as it was my mother's maiden name. Surprisingly, none of us have used it as a first name though. I thought about using it as a middle name for my kids, but I had boys and couldn't quite justify it as a boy's middle name.

I hear all the time how beautiful my children's names are. Be forwarned, they are unique and suit them perfectly:goodvibes I love it every time I say their names, and people are always commenting on how beautiful they are.
My daugher's name is Mahnara, My youngest son's name is Zarius (pronounced Zar like Czar e us ) we call him Zar for short and Mahnara "Nara". My first son's name I have seen a few times throughout the years on movie credits... Trevon (pronounced like the beginning of truck, some people who don't know him occasionally say trevon rhyming with seven:headache: ) But that is what sometimes comes with having unique names;) Anyway, they all love their names and I love saying them ~

Trevon, Zarius and Mahnara:cloud9:

Some others that I love (some have been mentioned):

Lili (DH reminded me this was another we thought of when pregnant)
Chloe
Lindsay
Claire
Caroline (love this soooo much!!)
Raquel
Kiersten
Victoria
Kiera

:)

THANKS! (my name is on your list - - and it's spelled "right"!) I've always liked it.

DD's name is Hannah (have not seen it on here). She has my first name as a middle name which is Donna.

MIL was a little upset since she wanted Elisabeth after her (she could have named her DD that). DH tried to tell her that I get to decide on the middle name since DH decided that he wanted DS to have the same middle name as him (DH does not like his first name so he did not want DS as a jr). DH goes by his middle name. He told her that he could not guarantee me another girl. :rotfl2: Well, we did say that her name might be Sarah Elisabeth, but after saying it and trying to get DS to say it I was like what else do we like. It was suppose to be DS's name if he was a girl, now I like other names a lot better. DH wanted to name DD Kaitlin Grace, I told him that is my friends DD's name (he does not even know any of their names).

I know 2 little girls that had middle names that are Rain and Skylar. Their grandma said that in high school watch them go by Rain and Sky instead of their first name which they go by now. :rotfl:

DH said that if he knew for sure that we would have 3 girls then he wanted Faith, Hope, and Charity.

I like:
Katherine
Grace
Rebecca
Lauren
Hope
I had more, but can't remember.

My nephew and his wife just named their baby girl Love. I wasn't wild about it when I first heard it, but its grown on me since.

I love Cecelia and Nelia. (Not for twins, LOL) I wanted to use the name Nelia and call her Neely but chickened out. I also think the name rachel is a beautiful sounding name.

Delaney is a favorite of mine but is a lot for me like the name I gave my DD, Hunter: I do not think it is a beautiful name but it is a strong (non fluffy) name IMHO. I also like Caroline.

I've always loved this Gaelic name: Aisling, which means dream or vision. Other favorites;

Allegra
Francesca
Chiara
Sienna
Giselle

My DH wanted more conservative names when we were naming our kids. We had boys but the names that were discussed for girls were...

Hannah
Hayley
Ashlynn
Emma
Avery

Have fun and Congratulations!

Which one is yours?

The last one on your list. ;)

I haven't always loved it though. Growing up in the 70's, I hated it!

I wanted to be Kathy or Tracy or Beth.

When old ladies asked my name in church, I told them it was Shreep.

I started loving my name in high school, and I love it even more now. At least, I love it when people pronounce it right!

One of my favorites (vetoed by DH 3 times) is Charlotte. I also like Julia, but like Ava, Sophia, and Isabella, it's too common now (like Emily and Emma, 2 of my favs).

Well technically Neveah is Haeven spelled backwards.:teeth:

Hey never said I could spell!!!:lmao:
So that would be Nevaeh, I have yet to figure out how to spell most of my sisters kids names theres, LaNaya, Izayah, MiKaya and Dimaio!
