What is the longest you've waited in a Budget line?

We are planning on using Fastbreak but are told we need to stand in line the 1st time. What is the longest you've waited?

I've always used Fastbreak and have never used the terminal line. Sometimes at the garage kiosk you have to wait for a person in front of you, but it does not take long.

We are using them for the first time Sunday April 4th.

Should I get signed up for 'Fastbreak' ?

We have a reservation but haven't given them any crc crd info yet.

We have to get a child seat so I don't know if that requires a counter visit or not.

First time we used Fastbreak headed right out to the parking garage. Never got in the lineup inside the terminal.

In LAX I waited more than 2 hours in line for Budget! Never again! I've never had to wait that long for any rental car in any other city. Never.

At least at the Orlando airport, you can go straight to the kiosk in the garage if you're a Fastbreak member (which is free). I've rented from Budget several times and never had to wait more than a few minutes, and that was only because there might have been one or two people in front of me. There should be no need to wait in a long line if you have Fastbreak - that's the whole point of it, allowing you to bypass the lines at the rental desk. If you don't have Fastbreak, you'll be taking your chances. I highly recommend signing up.

Well, I've called Budget three times now. Twice I've been told you have to wait in line the first time you use Fastbreak so they can take a photocopy of your credit card. The last time they told me just go to the garage.

I wish I could get a definite answer from someone who's tried recently.

1 hour and it was torchure. One clerk working the booth with tons of people. Never again will I rent from Budget. I will spend a few extra dollars to avoid a line. My opinion, some people love Budget. That was my experience.
