Hi Alice! I missed that one, I didn't get going until the offical new moms thread. I actually started one before the current new mom's thread Lissawynn started, but it died. Thank goodness the one we are on is still going strong.

I never really know what the lounge threads are about, but I am guessing something along the lines of yesterdays MIL_ thread. Am I right? They poofed too huh?

It was a bunch of REALLY NICE people hanging out and kidding around. Unfortunately, there are some who don't like to see others happy. They have to rain on the parade

Oh yea, I can see that one getting long (and heated.) Parental thread in general get very debated sense there are some many different "ways" and people feel so strongly about it (and everyone has a opinon, even if they don't have kids, because most everyone at least had parents.)

long long ago in a galaxy far far away, someone very very close to me started a thread on the late, lamented debate board that went for over 20 pages and was bumped up a year after it was originally posted, and bumped again two years after that.


I think it had something to do with pretzels.
