You are going in less than a week? This time of year I would say its not likely. Just keep calling up until the day of and see if anyone cancels last minute.

Our last 2 times they were not taking walk ups and they were seating behind. This was not during peak time. I wouldn't count on getting in.

we were there a few weeks back and had to cancel our resv for Tusker, we went the following day - booking said no availability and we were able to do a walk in. we got to park at opening though and went straight there. good luck!

If its not early morning magical hours you would have a better chance is my guess.

We went on a rainy day a few weeks ago and the park was as dead as I've ever seen it and they were way behind at TH. We didn't get seated for our 8am ADR until 8:25. I wouldn't count on a walk up.

Last October, I saw many gettting turned away while I waited to be seated.

In September they were 3o minutes behind... so I wouldn't count on it. However, I'd keep trying even the night before or first thing when you get up. I'm about 30 days out and after 2 months of nothing 2 just popped up... unfortunately not on the right days!

Thanks guys. I do have an ADR for TH later in our trip, but was thinking it might be fun to go to AK the day after we arrive since that is the one park the kids have never been to. I'll keep trying or we'll make another plan of attack.
Normally, by this time I have all the plans and ADRs down long ago, but I just couldn't get it together for this trip. Eh, maybe winging it will be fun. LOL
