What is the LEAST CROWDED Value Resort?

Well they all can book up to capacity, I have stayed at PoP when it was full and it did not seem crowded at all,

What sections are the preferred rooms @ POP?

Also, is it true the POP resort has its owns transporation buses to the parks?

AS Movies
AS Music
AS Sports

or

POP?

for the time period i am there at sports, i will say sports is the least crowded.

when codes/pins are sent out, they usually have sports listed for usage.
i'm guessing that is to help fill up that resort.

preferred rooms for POP are around the Hippy Dippy Pool (60-s and 70's building)

The 40's building is also really close to the Main Hall -- but (at least it wasn't) considered preferred.

None of the resorts feel "crowded" or busy -- they are very spacious.

All 4 resorts are crowded, so it's difficult to pick one out that is less crowded. All have long lines for check-in, long lines for buses, long lines in the food courts and crowded main pools. The All Star resorts have 1920 rooms each while Pop has 2880 rooms. That being said, I stayed at Pop one year where they were so overbooked that they were "walking" people to other resorts (both in advance and in person) and it did not seem any more crowded than my stays at the All Star resorts. I would use theme to choose a value resort. Also, it is my opinion that a preferred room is only worthwhile at All Star Music (because the Broadway & Country buildings are so far away) a waste of money at the other value resorts. Even the farthest building is an easy walk to the food court and bus stop.

Sorry but this info is not correct. Pop doesnt have a 40's section.

Preferred locations are: 60's facing the pool, and also 50's & 70's closest to the main building. If you google 'Pop resort map" you should find what youre looking for.

I've stayed at three of the four values listed. Everything except ASSp. I thought POP was the most crowded. Music and Movies seemed equal to me. POP is about the size of two of the All Stars put together, isn't it? So there is just more people at the main pool and at the dining hall.

We stayed at POP last time. Never again! It was so crowded!! Food court was chaotic and loud-store was too. You can notice another 1,000 people.

We stayed at ASp in June 2012 at it didn't seem very crowded. Food court and pools were never packed. Buses were only crowded at park opening and closing. We loved the resort. We stayed at Pop in February 2011 (week before President's Day) and it was covered up. Food court was kind of chaotic and the buses always seemed crowded. Of course Pop is a larger resort so that makes sense.

I think is is all a matter of luck, timing and perspective as to which is the most crowded. We usually have an odd request to make us feel like it is less crowded. We normally stay at Movies and request the Mighty Ducks area. We like this because it is the farthest removed from the main building thus less requested and if there are empty rooms at a resort they are likely to be in the far off places, also we like that the pool is usually empty being that it is out of the way for everyone other than those 2 buildings. And the final and best trick is the bus stop and main building for Music is just on the other side of the bushes and as close as some (not all) of the preferred rooms. This has worked on 2 consecutive trips for us.
