We are sailing on the Fantasy on Saturday. It's been quite a few years since sailing that ship. Do I need to bring my own or do they still have the H2O products in the little bottles that get replenished if needed? Also is there still a hairdryer?

They still supply the h20 products. Yes, there is a hairdryer.

They also have a mat in the drawer for putting hot irons on so you don’t burn the desk. It’s with the hair dryer in the top drawer by desk.

I did not know about the mat in the desk drawer. I'll have to look next time. Thanks.

Does anyone know what the shampoo situation is on the wonder? Do we have the big bottles yet or still small ones?

If you are Concierge, it is Elemis. Lord help your hair.

I was on the Dream a couple weeks ago, and they had the large pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - not the small bottles.

Just off the Wonder last week. Big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion. There was a bar of soap in the toilet area.

Wow. I thought they were only giving bars of soap. Not even the little bottles.

Off the Disney Dream yesterday. Here is what was in our room. It’s shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower area. We did not have a split bath, so one bar of soap at the sink along with body lotion. I asked our stateroom host for another bar of soap for the shower area.

Boarding the Magic on Saturday! Anyone know if the small bottles have been replaced by the pump bottles on this ship?

There were pumps on the EBTA that just finished this weekend. We didn’t get any bar soap in our room, only the large pump bottles.

Sadly, we left the Fantasy on Saturday....my take on the new pump bottles....good idea, bad execution. The pumps don't pump enough. The pump goes down part way and does not pop up fast enough or high enough so its almost easier to take the top off and pour some in your hand. I spoke to our room host who was refilling some bottles at her cart and she says most people prefer the small tubes. The tubes seem way easier than the big pump jars on the room hosts. They did have 3 big bottles in the shower...shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Body lotion was on the shelf near the sink. I also felt like the constant pumping of the bottles in the shower put pressure on the shelf they were on and could lead to the shelf sagging or even breaking. We had one bar soap box at the sink in the toilet section but I always bring my own pump bottle of hand soap. I hate using bar soap.

Very poor execution. They need better pumps as the bottles are here to stay. I didn’t think about about shelving and all the added stress/weight to it by trying to get the smallest amount of shampoo/conditioner/body wash out. It’s very frustrating t9 be pumping them so many times...meanwhile you are wasting water.

We did have a soap bar (on the Fantasy)

I'm surprised it took them this long to switch over given how many bottles were being taken from the ship. Those products are great!

That’s very true. If you put your bottles away each night before turn down service on a 7-night cruise you’d have 21 bottles to take home. 🤪

I had a nice collection from my last cruise. But I used them all when I traveled this year. I am going bring some empty travel bottles with me in January and hopefully take home just a little. LOL! I love the shampoo smell!

Aha! You see, this is the reason for the poor pumps. They don't want people to easily be able to fill up their own bottles, lol.
