What is the funniest thing your child has said about Disney?

Well my story is funny to me. Just after the Christmas parade at MVMCP my son was lost by a family memeber. He was 3 so you can imagine how freaked out I was. Apparantly he climbed into another stroller with a boy he was playing with during the parade. Make a long story short the mother got to POC and went to get her son out and found my son in there with him. She came running back to say she had. I frantically run to POC to find him happy playing with the CM's. I cried and hugged him like the psycho mom I was at the time. I said come on lets go. He said mommy I can no leave this entrance. I said why. He said they have made me Pirate of the Day so I must stay here. :scared1:

DH and I had taken our niece, 12 and nephew, 9 for their first trip to WDW. We arrived late-ish and so didn't go to a park until the next morning. I was anxious to see what they would do and so was paying close attention to them when we arrived at the MK, walked under the train station and saw the castle for the first time. Our niece stood and stared, without speaking. Our nephew looked around, looked at the castle and said in a matter-of-fact tone "You don't see that everyday". :confused3 I saw plenty of kids that were yelling and laughing and dancing around with excitement, but he was just "whatever" about it.

He did have a great time and hasn't let us forget that we should take them again. Strange child though, but he did have fun.:upsidedow

Not my child but it was cute--
we were in Turtle Talk and Crush was talking to a little girl. I couldn't see her but she sounded about 3-4 years old.
Crush asked her what she had been doing that day and she told him that she had gone on 'roller toasters'. Crush said "roller toasters? Cool!"
It was so cute and makes me smile every time I think about it.

Me "I think we'll go and have some lunch."

DD6 "Yes...lets stop into the castle." (We had already eaten there this trip) "I just love the mashed potatoes in there."

At least she has her priorities right!

We were on the boat from WL to MK when my barely three year old turned to DH and said, "We need to get Fastpasses for Buzz!" I was shocked he knew what a FP was. From the smiling expressions of those around us, they were amused too. :rotfl:

:goodvibes Jennifer

Oooohhh and when we were back home:

Me "I don't think we'll need to rent you a stroller next time we go to Disney. I think you'll be big enough to walk then."

DD (now 7) - "MUM ITS A HOLIDAY...YOU DON'T WANT TO WALK ON A HOLIDAY DO YOU!?!" About two minutes later "You were just joking about that...weren't you?"

And somewhere there's a mom that tells a story about going to get her son out of his stroller at POTC and what should she find but someone else's child with him! :rotfl:

ok - this one is a little bit gross, but funny none the less. . .

When my DS was 2 and trying to potty train - we were planning a trip to WDW anyway- so like the good parents we are - we promised him if he learned to poop in the potty we would take him to WDW. ;)

So we were at the mall and he had to go potty, I took him into a stall where the previous person didn't flush a #2 (yuck.) He took one look and said - OOOO!!! SOMEBODY'S GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!

I love that one lol

When my sister was like 2 or 3 she said "Disney makes dead people sing and dance" refering to anamatronics

My DD was 18mo for her first trip to the world. on the monorail afer wishes she askes me how a fuggerworks.... translate it to how a firework works. Lots of fun looks from the folks in the car.

that same trip my Aunts thought it was hilarious to teach DD to say Buy me Prada, Buy me diamonds, or Beemer, or versace. She walked up to strangeers and asked them. Gabby has never met a stranger.lol

My funny stories didn't happen in Disney, only about Disney. I was chaperoning DD7's class trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. When trying to see the elephants, DD turns around and says, "Mom, lets just go to Disney instead. I can see the animals better on the safari!" :rotfl:

Then last night we went to watch fireworks by my township, and once they started both kids started yelling "Look, pixie dust!" :rotfl2:

Love reading everyone's stories!! Keep 'em coming!

This morning we where watching the disney show on travel channel and it said that tot would knock youre socks off and my 4yr old sister says "It can't knock you're socks off you are wearing shoes!!!!!! it will knock of you're shoes and then you're socks!"

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

DD3 heard another child who was probably right around her age crying in a restaurant really loudly. She looked at DH and I very knowingly, shaking her head and said, "I think that baby needs a nap". She's one smart cookie.

Not sure if it is cute or precocious......My daughter (then 3) told Prince Charming he needed a breath mint!

Oy!!!

When I told her that was not nice she said, "Cinderella would have told him!"

When my oldest son was 3 he was terrified of Donald duck at Chef Mickey's. When Donald came to our table he started to cry. A cast member came over to the table to try to talk to him to calm him down and she asked my son, "why are you afraid of Donald?" My son said, "He's really creepsy cuz hes got no pants on his hiney." Very memorable.

When DS was 3, we made our first trip to WDW and he had a great time. We got home and about a month later, Mike and I realized he was packing his suitcase. So, we asked where he was going...... DS at 3 years old had decided he was ready to go back to Disney. We explained that we weren't going back for a while, and he replied "That's ok. I'm ready to go now. My suitcase is ready too."

He's now almost 6 and we've been back three more times.

About a month or 2 before our last WDW trip (2007) my bo7s and I were grocery shopping when one of the twins (a 1st grader at the time) dropped a can of mushrooms into the cart. When I asked what the mushrooms were for he said "We can take them to WDW in case we need mushrooms":confused3 I guess we were in over planning mode:lmao: We left the mushrooms at home:rotfl:
