Just wondering, what is the funniest thing you ever saw in Walt Disney World. I could use a good laugh

This happend quite a few years ago when my son was 5. Actually, it happened at the airport on our way home from a wonderful vacation at WDW. In fact, it was my son's first trip. He wasn't too happy to be leaving and was making life miserable at the airport. So, after a while, I decided to take him to the bathroom for a "discussion". As I am literally dragging him toward the bathroom, he is looking back and screaming to my mother, "GRANDMOTHER, WORK A MAGIC SPELL!".

This happened about 9 years ago. DSIL and I went to see the Beauty and the Beast show in MGM. During one of the numbers of the show, Mrs. Potts FELL DOWN on stage!! We were treated to a view of HIS yellow Reeboks and really hairy legs:laughing:
He was turning in circles on the floor because he couldn't get up in the costume. A bunch of crew guys had to come out on stage and pick him up. The rest of the cast just continued the show as if nothing happened. It was really funny!!

O.K. I admit this is not as funny as Mrs. Potts with hairy legs...

When entering Animal Kingdom one year, this potted plant was whizzing around in that big open area before you enter the gates. It was just funny. It was in a planter and it was just kind of zooming this way and that. I have never seen it again. It was obviously being controlled remotely somehow.

That would be Wes Palm, the talking palm tree. My kids loved him, they were truly shocked when he called them by name (they had GOH badges) and said happy birthday to my 1 DS (he had on his bday badge). They were like HUH??? What's going on?

That Mrs Potts story is one of the funniest things I have heard in a while. When I got to the part about him rolling around onstage because he couldn't get up, I started laughing and I still haven't stopped. I wish I had that on camera because that would get a lot of laughs for years to come.
Thanks for sharing!

The only thing I can think of right now is a few years ago at Epcot we saw a man and a woman that were very oddly paired. He was wearing the typical middle aged man attire in Disney: Kakhi shorts, short sleeved polo type shirt, socks & sneakers. She was wearing the shortest mini skirt I've ever seen with a tube top. Black fish net stockings and spike heels! She was wearing thick makeup and her hair was teased all over the place and it appeared she had used a whole can of Aqua Net in it. They were strolling along hand in hand. We all decided he must have picked up a street walker on the way to Epcot that day. How did she manage in those shoes??? I wonder that a lot when I notice some of the foot wear people chose to wear to the parks. But anyway I would love to know the story between those two.

The man who parked his stroller and got in line for the Great Movie Ride having left his 2 year old daughter still in the Stroller. CM "Sir, you left something behind!!!" You should have seen his wife's face!!!

Last fall we were in line with a group of people going on Splash Mountain for the first time. One guy in the group was very concerned about getting wet during the big drop, and since we'd been on it before, he asked us "How wet do you get?" a bunch of times. We assured him you get a little wet, but usually not soaked.

They were in the log right behind us, and when we got off the ride, he walked past us, completely dry and very happy that he didn't get wet. He was teasing his friends for getting wet, and was generally very proud of himself.

When we got to the area where you look at your picture, we saw their group's shot and discovered that he had ducked *completely* behind the guy he was riding with. You couldn't even see him in the picture, except for one elbow! (And he was about 5'10'') We laughed all the way out of the store. :)
