What is the first week in April like?weather crowds

Just wondering what the weather is like this time in April? Went the week after Easter last year...it was so nice...a lot of swimming? Also what are the crowds like? Should I try to get some days from the end of March too? Or is that Spring Break time? Not too concerned about going to parks everyday...this is more of a relaxing trip...Just to get away from the winter! Thanks

This year the 1st week of April is the week before Easter. It will most likely be very crowded. We go down every year at that time and have a wonderful time. I think if it's a more of a relaxing trip you should be fine. If they is anyway to get some nights in march, I might consider tht also.

The weather is usually beautiful that time of year. In the past 7 times we have gone down at this time, No rain at all. If it does rain, it is for 5-10 minutes and then the sun comes back out. Great weather for swimming.

As for Spring Breaks, you are going to be stuck in the middle of them no matter when you go. SB seem to start like the 2nd week of march and go right up through the end of April.
