What is the Ferry Boat ride like at Tom Sawyers island?

I've never been on this.... where do you get on it? What is it like? Any extra costs?

Are you talking about the Liberty Belle, the large boat or the raft that takes you over to Tom Sawyers Island. No extra costs for either of them.

i might be mistaken, but this is just small boat that takes folks back and forth to TSI, not necessarity a ride once you are on TSI. just a staight shot over to the island and back.

the boat/ferry looks like a raft to keep it in line with the TSI theming. we tried it for the first time in december and we thought it was cute. the island was pretty neat, too. we never realized such a neat place was tucked away in the middle of the MK!

I've been on it. I agree, it's no necessarily a ride but just a little trip to the other side. I really liked it. Very quaint and a very nice touch to the theme.

I'll be taking my newlywedded hubby with me when we go on our honeymoon.

The Liberty Belle riverboat is still there. You board it in Liberty Square, between the Hall of Presidents and the Haunted Mansion.

Yes, this is the one I am speaking of. You can call it a ride if you like but if memory serves me correctly, it does not drop you off where you came onto the ferry. It brings you to the other side.

Like I said above, I really enjoyed it. I will be going on it again when I return in September. It's quite a pleasant and peacful ride with lovely scenery.

The riverboat drops you off at the same place you boarded. You do exit from the lower deck.
