What is the email address for guest services to voice concerns/complaints?

Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to names (easier that way) or dates (clueless of me) and I thought you were the op following up.

Sure would be frustrating for those of us who don't much care about parades. :)

Actually we did do something to sort of save a spot for a parade. We paid for the blue bayou meal with the reserved spot. Dh and DS liked it but I could have done without. If it's not the old Christmas fantasy parade I have no use for it. :)

I just commented that I wish I'd known about that option for PTN :) I would definitely do that next time if it's available!

its disappointing that my kids can't see the parade unless we sit there for 2 hours. Which is what the stakeout time was for PTN, at the time. And as disney is pretty kid-oriented, that's not exactly the experience I pay $100/day per person to have. I made sure to point out every other aspect of our trip was excellent, but the parade situation puts a damper on things as it's the part my kids look forward to the most.
What is your solution to this? I really don't see one other than making it a FastPass, and I don't think that would go over well. Disney's best solution is they offer packages to buy with viewing area you don't need to arrive at so early.

PTN isn't the first to have long time campers for viewing. We've camped out for 2-3 hours for fireworks for years. I understand it is hard for kids, but mine understood there are lines for everything, and that for fireworks, the "line" was sitting and waiting. On busy nights, we'd find our spot by 630 for the 930 show. People would comment why people would stake out this early? We wanted this view. People would comment why would I stake out for Fantasmic! viewing? Because we wanted to view it from there.

I don't know what the solution to the issue is for you, perhaps getting one of the packages like the take and go meal.

I'll never understand the need to camp out. I have seen almost every parade and nighttime show and have never spent 2 hours waiting. Even with little ones. Maybe it is because we don't care if we are right on the line but for PTN we showed up as they were just starting to lock down the street and went and sat at the top of the walkway area over by IASW. I'd say we were there 30 minutes tops. We had a great view with no one blocking our way.

I'm sorry I didn't respond to your timeframe question - I want to say it was a couple of days? And I got a phone call in response to my email. Honestly the call would have been more than enough - it was nice to feel like someone actually heard my feedback. The whole point of my email was to share with them that as someone of what is probably a target demographic (a family buying multi-day tickets who blows money on crap like the castle package at BBB), its disappointing that my kids can't see the parade unless we sit there for 2 hours. Which is what the stakeout time was for PTN, at the time. And as disney is pretty kid-oriented, that's not exactly the experience I pay $100/day per person to have. Thank you for your responses! My issue is similar to yours except that I did purchase the reserved seating, showed up 2 hours early & there was no place in the reserved seating where all my 6 kids could see well. The CM's told me they were trying "something new" with the seating area & there were NO up front curb side seating in that section! So I wasted almost $200 & ended up saving seats OUTSIDE the reserved area for 2 hours so my kids could see & then the parade was cancelled because of the rain! I realize that they can't control the weather but the only option the CM's offered me was tickets for the later parade at 10:30 which was way too late for my kids(ages 2-11)to stay up for with no guarantee it would even run as scheduled. :(

Along the Customer Service phone call line, has anyone been injured and taken to First Aid ever received a follow up phone call or e-mail from Disney?

This has been my experience, too. I think a lot of people who camp out just want a particular location or they want front row so they can sit through the parade. The other thing that happens in Disneyland is people follow the crowd, even if the crowd isn't doing anything worthwhile.

This WAS always our experience until the Electrical Parade has come back! We are locals who saw PTN several times without waiting more than 30 minutes and the Christmas parade with usually a 10-minute wait (even on packed days), but with the Electrical Parade, it was legitimately full, like I couldn't squeeze in the back of the rope and hold my daughter, like they were making announcements that there was no viewing left full... It really is different! I'm hoping it dies down after the rush of locals all see it.

I also understand that it's not possible just to walk up and find a spot for larger groups. It's usually just a party of 2-3 that I'm trying to fit in, but if someone's there with four kids that they want to make sure can see it, I get staking them a good spot.

I also remember when we went to DL to see the new Fantasmic show on my 10th birthday, and my 8-months-pregnant mom brought a blanket and was sitting by Rivers of Americs hours in advance, so this is hardly a new phenomenon. It's what people do for parades and fireworks shows all over, not just at Disney.

OP, that is disappointing that the "reserved" section sucked, and given that you paid for that experience, I can see why you're contacting them. I hope you hear back.

No, we didn't. Almost 3 years ago, we were in FL with a roaming PP photographer who was doing a ton of magic shots with us. He positioned my then 8 year old between PP and Mr Toad's, when a woman on an ECV didn't know how to break, ran right into my daughter, trapping her ankle and knocking her to ground. The woman on the EVC got up and went on the ride, while the photographer and a CM from PP took care of us. Once we realized nothing was broken and she could walk, we decided to take her to First Aid using our stroller. The CM at PP gave us a few remit passes for any ride and the photographer told us where to meet him the next day to do more pictures if we were up to it. We did and he spent an hour with us doing them.

At first aid, they looked at it, determined she was ok (which we agreed with), wrapped in an ace bandage just in case and gave her ice.

At dinner that night, the CMs felt bad for her and brought her free dessert to make her feel better.

We never followed up with City Hall or anything because we felt the CMs had all handled it very well and in the end, she was fine (although terrified when an EVC got too close). Had it been more serious, I would hope they would have followed up, but I also would have made sure to as well.

Thank you for understanding! It was super disappointing because with 6 kids & a large family Disney is not something we can do often because it is so expensive! This trip was one we have saved & planned for for 4 years & went specifically at the time we did to see the MSEP & it didn't happen.:( I hope that I will at least get a response back acknowledging my concerns. I will report back if & when I hear anything!

So who got the curb seating?

We showed up 10 minutes before the time given on our PTN ticket and they wouldn't let us in. You arrived two hours prior????

Are you totally sure they knew you had the package?

Always important to value your meal at the cost of the experience, so that if weather happens you don't feel that it was wasted money.

I've heard of it, when warranted. Like if you were sent on to the ER. If it was their fault and there were going to be follow up costs.

My son was among the last injured by pre-padding Mater. The nurses checked him very carefully to make sure there was no break in the "cheek bone" area he had hit the side wall of the ride vehicle so hard. But there was no ER and no follow up costs so we didn't expect or need or get a call.

We were just happy when they announced that they would be padding the sides of the ride not terribly long afterward.

So they reconfigured the reserved space & there was NO curb space available at all in the reserved section & the space was much smaller than the reserved area for PTN & even a week ago for MSEP. As for letting in 2 hours early...people have been lining up early just to be let in bc of the crazy popularity of MSEP lately! People are camping out 3-6 hours early & we were there on a Friday night. They started letting people in about 1.5 hours early but I decided to find my own curb spot up front bc my kids would have never been able to see in the reserved area. :( CM's definitely knew I had reserved seating as I was the first person let in with my ticket & after checking it out talked to them further I was told by CM's that they were trying "something new." Had I known they were going to change things up so much from just one week prior I would have not paid for the on the go reserved package. :/ I realize that the meal is part of what you are paying for so it wasn't a total loss but I really did it solely so I wouldn't have to camp out for 4-6 hours just to see the parade with my kids in a terrible spot. I would have bought dinner somewhere else for much less $ and hassle.:(

Thanks for the reply. I'm surprised though. With all the information asked, I thought someone was going to contact me. Thanks!
