What is the easy way to purchase AP's

IMHO, the easiest way is to purchase on site at any Guest Relations window - the one in Downtown Disney MarketPlace is especially easy. All you will need is your DVC membership card and a photo ID.

If you don't want to wait until you are on site, you can get a voucher (to exchange for the actual pass) either online via the DVC Members' Website or you can call MS. Both are quite easy. You can either have the voucher mailed to you (for a $3/order mailing charge) or you can opt for "will call". Either way, you will need to go to a Guest Relations window - either to exchange the voucher for an actual pass or to pick up the actual pass. You will need to show your DVC membershop card and a photo ID to get the actual pass.

If you also plan to purchase the Disney Dining Experience (DDE) card, do not choose the will call option. You will need the numbers on the back of the voucher or the actual pass to order the card.

Best wishes -

Thanks CarolMN, I waited too long and am planning to Purchase both an AP (at the discounted price) and then DDE at International Gateway (staying at BCV). Does that sound like it should go smoothly as long as we have our member card and ID's?

Remember, the DDE can not be purchased in person, only by phone. Once you have your AP you can then call the DDE office and purchase it, a temporary card will be prepared for you to pick-up later at EPCOT (you may have to pick up the temp DDE at the main entrance guest services). Also remember that the DDE office keeps normal business hours Mon-Fri, they are closed on weekends.

I have a stupid question to go along with this. We're buying an annual pass for the first time this year. We're planning on trying to make it cover this summer's trip, this December's trip, and next summer's trip (if we go in June next year instead of July)

My question is, if we order the APs now and get the certificate, will they expire next March? Or do they expire one year from when we cash the certificate in? Is it too early to order the APs now for a July 9th trip?

Thanks everyone.

They will expire one year from when you redeem the voucher for the actual pass. You may order the vouchers now if you wish. My only problem with vouchers vs. buying in person is that it is one more thing to "misplace."

I agree with Chuck but I use to like having the voucher before ( before last week when I bought DVC ) to check for AP Discounts online , you need the numbers on the ticket or voucher to check room availability .

:teeth:
