I am throwing around ideas for spring break 2017 (which, thankfully, is nowhere near Easter). I thought about Aulani but for the same $ (even with DVC points I would need airfare and food) I could do another cruise since it will just be me and DH this time. There is a 7 day eastern we could do or a 5 day western out of Miami.
We are cruising this year at the end of March. What is the discount rate for booking a cruise onboard, and it is worth it to wait?

We just cruised in December, and the discount was 10% + $250 onboard credit (and lower deposit required for 7 night+) They didn't have our dates available, so we put a $250 place holder which saves that discount.

$ 100 onboard credit for cruises less than 7 days. $ 200 for 7 or more days. 10% off the total cost of your cruise. It is best to book sooner so I would book and then you can always re-book on board if it is cheaper

Prices tend to go up fast. Also make sure the cruise is not blacked out from the 10% on board booking discount

Also, I am not very patient so I would not be able to wait...but that is just me
