What is the difference MM & MTTM ?

MM, Morning Magic, used to be called Early Entry. It allows you early entry on certain days into the parks. Fantasyland and some rides in Tomorrowland are open.

MTTMM is the Mickey's Toon Town Morning Magic. On certain days, Toon Town will open an hour earlier to special guests with special passes. There is a small show with the characters and you can ride the rides and stand in line for autographs.

In addition:

MM is available to everyone with 3+ day parkhoppers and anyone staying onsite.

MTMM is only available to those people who have booked through WDTC or AAA (or Costco, i think). It requires a separate ticket for entry.

the toon town opening is an hour before everybody else and with toon town opening an hour after the park you are basically getting it at park opening. if your days align you can use both early entry and the toon town pass.

I have a ? about how the MM works. If everyone is lined up so early. Is there a line just for MM?:confused3
And we are staying at GCH so where would we go to for MM?

Well an hour before park opening there aren't going to be that many people w/o MM. There are several lines open for MM. Everybody just goes to the gate for MM.

Well, yes. There are hundreds of people staying in the three DL hotels, and more who have MMs through their hopper passes. So there are long lines at MM opening. We were there during one of the busiest times of the year, Spring break. Park hours were 8-midnight, so MM was 7 a.m. We got to the security station at 6:15, 3rd in line, and within 10 minutes there were like 50 people lined up behind us. When security opened at 6:30, we all went to the turnstiles and lined up at the ones that had the "Magic Morning" signs up above them. By the time they started letting people in to go up to the hub for rope drop (about 6:50 a.m.) the lines were almost back to the California letters on the Esplanade.

But in case that scares you-- it's still way fewer people than will be there at regular opening, and later in the day. It still feels relatively empty in the parks during Magic Morning, and the rides are mostly walk-on. It's fabulous! MM is not to be missed!

By the way, when you're staying at GCH, use their Downtown Disney entrance. Head up toward the Esplanade and the security station is right there at the end of DTD by La Brea Bakery. Just a tent with a bunch of tables.

Have fun!

Thanks Gail,
How much early would you get there at the DTD Entrance for MM?
Happy Mother Day!! :flower3:

Again thanks, kind of like the same question
If you wanted to be 1st in line at a gate in the summer what time do you need to get to the security point? Our body clocks are 8 hours ahead of California time so getting up early isn't an issue!! I so much enjoyed being 1st into the parks at Disneyland Paris (both parks) a few weeks ago. Would 6:15 be enough or earlier? We are at the GCH.

Totally OT but here is a pic that I took at DLRP when I was the 1st person into the park that day,

Sorry, I'm not a summer visitor, so I don't have an exact answer for you. I'd guess if the parks open at 7 am for MM, I'd be at the security tents at 6:15 in order to be first. They most likely won't let you through security until 6:30.

Wow, what an impressive castle DLRP has! Do they call it Sleeping Beauty's Castle as well?

Hey Danauk.....where do they hide the Churro Carts & the CornyDog Truck in Paris??

:rotfl:

Cool pic. :thumbsup2

(& I'd say 6:10am on the weekend & 6:20am during the week. Either way you'll want to get in (or start) the line at the security tent....NOT at the DL gate since @ 6:30am they'll sweep everyone back to the security tent.)
