What is the difference memory maker

It definitely wasn't $15 for a day. You must've been looking at something different. One day is $59 still I believe

As of June the price on purchasing Memory Maker in advance was increased from $149 to $169. If you wait to purchase Memory Maker until you’re on site, the price increased from $169 to $199.

Thank you

ETA you can't by chance purchase the one day in advance can you

Also keep in mind that the photopass option comes with the higher priced AP's and you only need one member of your friends and family list to have an AP to be able to get everyone's pictures/videos

Photopass is the photography service. Memory Maker is the prepaid purchase of all the downloads vs. paying $15 each.
Since your trip seems to be a special one, if it's in the budget it's a nice thing to have.

Like I said earlier tight budget are there any photos with enchantments in AK or no like I know I saw trip report 5 years ago of someone holding simba

Photopass is the Disney product and what is the yearly item that AP holders get.

No, it's what shellyj said - PhotoPass is the photography service. What you get with the AP is unlimited PhotoPass downloads, so it's similar to Memory Maker, except it's better because it lasts for a year, while MM lasts for 45 days.

60 bucks a day?
15 bucks PER picture??

I'm sorry but those prices are ABSURD! I wouldn't pay half that. And those "enchantments" always look so cheap and pointless.

I'm surprised people think that thing is worth the money. I usually defend Disney but this has always seemed like one of the biggest money grabs around.

It is $169 for your whole trip if you buy in advance. We took tons of photopass photos. With characters, at all landmarks etc etc etc. I have my DS entire first trip (She turned one there) documented and made a photo book for her as a memory. For me, it was without a doubt worth every single penny and I'll be doing it again on my DS first trip in Sept. I didn't have to worry about getting good pics of everyone. We travel as a party of 10 and had TONS of photos taken.

In the grand scheme of WDW, this cost is one of the ones I don't complain about :). Documenting these memories over the years is incredibly special to me. Taking the same photo in front of Cinderella Castle or with Mickey as my kids grow ... oh gee, I might start crying!

Yea that's what I said

No, you didn't. You said that PhotoPass is a product, but it's not - it's a service. Also, you said it's what AP holders get, but everyone can use PhotoPass, whether they have an AP or not - what AP holders get is unlimited downloads of their PhotoPass pictures.
