What Is The Difference Between Ayers and Osama Bin Laden?

I read this earlier today and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I'm amazed that the media does not think this is huge. If this association were McCain's or Palin's - we'd never hear the end of it.

Two People Have Bombed The Pentagon - At Least One Is A Friend of Obama.

One is Bill Ayers, the friend of Democrat Presidential hopeful, Barack Hussein Obama.

The other is 9/11 Terrorist, Osama bin Laden.

How can you be friends with one and despise the other, when they both committed the same act?

Barack was 7 years old when Ayers was involved with the Weatherman. Ayers is now a college professor.

You can make any connection that you want. You can believe anything you want. Nothing anyone says will change your mindset. Just like no matter how many time it's been proven that McCain/Palin lie you never believe it.

Interesting notion. My son was 5 on 9/11/01. So if he were to grow up and become buddy-buddy with an al-Qaeda member that participated in the planning of 9/11, that would be OK?

Or, if Osama bin-laden were to become a college professor, that would negate what he's done?

I always imagine Obama's first meeting with Bill Ayers going like this:

Mutual friend: Hey, I'd like you to meet Bill Ayers.
Obama: How do you do?
Another mutual friend, whispering: You know, Barack, Bill once bombed the Pentagon…
Obama: Hmmm, I'd like to get to know him better, maybe serve on a board with him, have him to my home, and ask him to host the launch of my Senate campaign at his house. A terrorist? Really? That's cool…

Who in the world learns a new acquaintance is a freakin' terrorist — and isn't utterly and completely REPELLED by that?! Who learns that, and then becomes even closer friends with the guy?! Who does that? I do not personally know a single person in the world who would have a civil conversation with Bill Ayers, let alone befriend him. Every person I know would dismiss him as the sociopathic freak he is, but not Obama.

I mean, you meet someone, find out he used to try to kill innocent people as they went to work, that his college girlfriend had her head blown off building a nail bomb for him, and that he's disappointed he didn't kill more people, well that right there is a friendship deal breaker for any sane person. How was that not a deal breaker for Barack Obama? The guy's a pure sociopath, and near as I can tell he's the only friend Barack Obama has. Where are his other friends — serving time at Guantanamo Bay?

And the fact that a known terrorist is a college professor is chilling in it's own right.

What matters to me is that a candidate who, if elected, would be responsible for the defense of this great nation - has made a moral decision to befriend a terrorist.

How can BHO be Commander In Chief to our military if he can so easily make those friendships.

Have you never told your children to choose their friends wisely as they will be judged by the company they keep? It's his name I don't understand why people don't want it used.

Okay I'm going to throw something out there that you all are either going to laugh at or flame me for, either is fine by the way . Have you ever wondered if the terrorists are so smart and sneaky that it is possible that they could create this person (Obama) just to see if they could successfully get the American people to buy it and elect a terrorist for president?? I know it is way way way out there but this thought has crossed my mind on more than one occasion and why not. I don't know I just get a really weird feeling about him. Right back at you. Is there no lie McCain can tell that you won't defend? How about Palin's church membership? How about all the threads making excuses for her poor performance with Charlie? It works both ways.

Obama may have a few flaws but he has my vote. Nothing you can say will change that. Just as nothing I can say will change your vote.
