What is the difference between a "mini-moon" and a Honeymoon?

So is 4 days in Washington DC a minimoon or a honeymoon? How about when a day and a half of that was fighting the bureaucracy at MILPERCEN? (It's an acronym for the Army's personnel department.)

Now, after 35 years, maybe we should think about taking a slightly longer, exceedingly less stressful trip.

In itself, the concept of a short trip (perhaps a long weekend) immediately after the wedding and a longer one later on isn't all that unusual. But a 7 day "mini-moon"????? And yes, the name grates.

I keep hearing her name and seeing her on magazine covers, but am I supposed to know who Kim Kardashian is? Has she done anything truly noteworthy? Is she on TV or maybe in the movies? Or is she a totally manufactured celebrity? All I know is that occasionally Saturday Night Live makes fun of her and her sisters.

I've always wondered that too. Near as I can figure out, she became famous because she was in a sex tape. Because of the fame she got from that, the fact that she was rich, and her stepfather was Bruce Jenner, they started a reality tv show about the family. Now they are all celebrities.

I went for 2 nights at a nearby lake-rustic and nice. I guess that was a teeny-moon?
