I keep trying to make a ressie for Mama Melrose on Dec 12th but they are telling me dinner time is from 4-5...will more slots open up?

Are you trying to book a Fantasmic Dinner Package? I know those have really early times. We are eating at Brown Derby at 4:20 on Dec. 5. I have heard of people calling back closer to their trip and having success at getting a later ps.

How late is the park open?

I've heard of people getting later times closer to their date. But, I think they stop serving maybe an hour or so before closing, not sure on the exact time.

DH and I tried to eat there before Fantasmic one night, we had a good 2 hours before it started, they weren't taking anyone else for dinner.

I would just take what you can get for right now. Try later and see if you can change it. At least you'll have a dining option. If you decide you want to cancel it, no big deal.

As other have said, later times usually do open up closer to the date, usually 3-4 weeks in advance. However if you are trying to book the FDP for an early Fantasmic (Im not sure what time it is on 12/12), 5:00 may be the latest they will book. They want you to have time to eat and get to the theater 1/2 hour in advance.
