I was at HHN on both Friday and Saturday night and saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute both nights. (Great show BTW! That cast is phenomenal!)

What is it with all the people getting up and streaming out about half way through the final song? This happened both nights, although it was waaay worse on Saturday night.

Am I the only one that considers this to be extremely rude? Maybe I am just too much of a theater geek, but I was astounded that people would leave before giving these performers the ovation that they so soundly deserve.

We were one of those streamers Saturday night. :lmao: Seriously, we thought it was over, and then when we were almost out realized it was then done. (Sitting near the back anyway.)
I am sure we will sit through it again. I will have to pay attention to see why we thought it was over.
My thoughts are it was because all the cast was already on stage, being highlighted by groups of two, and the audience clapped. That is why we thought it was over, esp after the cast indicated everyone stand up. I think they meant the audience to dance the time warp. But I think everyone just got up indicating they were to get up and leave, and did not want to, or know, the time warp. :confused3
