I was wondering if someone could tell me the dates of your (USA) thanksgiving this year, thank you,

Thank you so very much for the quick reply. I had always thought it was the 3rd thursday in November and just wanted to make sure because we are going to the States for the shopping on that weekend. Looking for scrapbooking stuff of course, lol,,, Thanks again ,,,

Note to OP, it doesn't remain static, I think it's the last Thursday in the month unless that's the last day, then it's the week before..or something like that.

I hate it when it falls on my birthday, I really don't want to be doing all that cooking..and I'm not even American!!! No I love it, it's a great holiday, a very welcome sentiment behind it. Being British, Christmas is always a bit of a food blowout too, so my family are usually waddling around for most of Jan and Feb after two such big cooking events! My husband loves that he can drag out the holidays for an extra month!!
