We like to get TONS of pics taken, so I don't want to be a "share" hog...

I've seen $59, $79, $99 and up. Just not sure what the cost is.

When I ordered my Photopass CD in November, the total, including tax and shipping and handling, was $66.95.

Yep, current price is 59.95 plus shipping.

At the beginning of '08 it dropped to 79, when it had been 124.95. People would use a special link to pre-purchase the CD, which brought it down to 99.95 (those included shipping).

But when DLR started dropping its photopass prices, the pre-order link became WDW-only.

You can wait until you come home, enter your ID numbers and have fun editing the pix and buy it once you're done.

Or if you don't want to edit the pictures (like if you are a scrapbooking fiend and have photoshop and all sorts of other editing abilities and don't want to use the limited Photopass edits) you can buy it in the parks for the same price. You'll have that disc to take home with you,and it will ONLY contain the plain original photos, though they do generally give you a couple 5x7 prints when you buy it in the parks.

Have fun!

Thanks for the info! I've always added the borders to a few images (plus my very clever [if I do say so myself] trick of putting the border on a totally black portion of the image, thus allowing myself a clean copy of each border) before ordering - but, I know I paid through the nose for it last time - surely it must have been the $129.

Here is my last question on this - If I go log into my photopass back at the hotel during our trip and play w/the images some - can I still buy it in the park and take it home with my edits? I wouldn't mind saving the shipping charges.

That is a very good question, and it would be great to know the answer! I haven't read of anyone trying that this year (or past years, but past years the price was higher and one could pre-order with shipping included so there was no point).

Love the idea on getting the border...wonder if there's any black spots on my pictures to do that with.

Check out your nighttime shots - like Space Mountain - nothing up high in the pic, just night sky. Just crop down to that place, save a copy, then add the border. If you know how to use a layer mask in photoshop it is easy peasy to get a nice border on any of your images.
