What is The Craziest Thing You've Ever Seen At Disney World?

Dec 30, 2014.. MK

It was packed... ofcourse...

Just had finished watching the NYE fireworks on NYE - EVE... a great tip for those who want to do EPCOT on NYE..

Anyway... was cutting through Casey's corner into the store.... Looked to my left... in the wall rack where usually the golf jackets are hanging... was a small Asian man.. on the bottom shelf sleeping..

Craziest thing I ever saw... had to stop and look twice.. He was spread out on the bottom shelf like it was a bunk bed..

We were walking past Liberty Tree Tavern and Goofy was inside at the window. He started tapping on the window, the taps kept getting harder and the window pane actually popped out. My DD was a CM at the time and she said she didn't know Goofy in any way, shape or form. It was funny and of course, Goofy, went into full embarrassment mode. :-)

A family got off Kali River ride just after us and as soaked as we were, but they proceeded to strip down, right there at the exit, to some VERY skimpy underwear. It took about two seconds for a CM to escort them to a nearby restroom!

This past April we just got off Kali and I was soaked. Went into the bathroom and took my shirt off (bra on) and was drying my shirt under the dryers. In come about 6 teenage girls who strip to their bras and panties and do the same. I had no problem with this as I am sure the 10 year old BOY who came out of a stall did not either. He just stared as he washed his hands until his mom ushered him out. Bet she sends him into the men's room from now on. :)

This emoticon sums up that kid at that moment: :magnify:

When went in November last year there was an incident when we were getting off of Splash Mountain. The ride was backed up for a bit as we were going to get off. It turns out that a child had gone to pet someones service animal and was bitten. I'm not sure where they put the dog, but I remember the owner was talking with cast members about how he had asked the kid not to touch the him and the kid was crying up a storm as they checked the bitten area. We didn't catch much more than that as we shuffled out of the way.

It was very sad situation.

I get the feeling that it was one of those fake service dogs. The main reason you aren't allowed to touch service dogs is because it can distract them, not because they will bite.

More likely to be a pseudo support dog than a trained service dog. I wish there was a way to keep people from bringing their pets in under the guise of support animals.

We can start a rumor that Disney had fake service animal sencers that kill any animal that is not really a service animal. Anyone stupid enough to pretend that their animal is a service animal will probably believe it.

About 25.5 years ago, we checked into the Poly and were driven to our building. The bellman opens the door and there are CM uniforms on the bed, the shower is running and giggles could be heard coming from the bathroom. Completely caught off guard, the bellman thought it was best to contact the front desk for another room.

Oh my... :scared:

Nah. I'm guessing she'll demand that girls and women not be allowed to change outside of stalls so her snowy isn't traumatized by having to see half-naked women in the women's room.

I figured it was something like this in general. :sad2:

So this thread's back again?
Okay. I can work with this.
My friend came back from Disney a few weeks ago, and shared this story:
They were waiting in line for TSM, and a kid keeps complaining to his mom that he needs to use the bathroom. Now, this wasn't near the candy land game board thing. No, it was in the bridge thing that goes over the track. The mom takes out an empty bottle of soda and hands it to him. My friend admits she is a really slow thinker and did not assume the following would happen. The kid pulled down his pants and started to pee in the bottle, not opening her eyes until the sound of liquid going into a bottle stopped and she heard the sound of moving fabric. When she opened her eyes, there were splashes of pee on the floor, some touching her shoe. A cast member came and escorted them out of the line. I think someone came by to clean it up, but I don't quite remember the rest of the story.

This weekend in Epcot I saw a very dressed up lady in heels... with a 4-5 month old baby wearing makeup. Eye shadow, mascara, blush and lip gloss. Mon dieu.

When my daughter and I were sitting on a bench waiting for a bus at Port Orleans, and the man next to us blew his nose. Into his bare hand! :scared1:

I know this is an old thread.

What did they guy do next, wipe his hand on his pants? Underneath the bench? Or worse?

At least he didn't blow a snot rocket and let it fly wherever.

September 2004 - being in Disney while Hurricane Frances touched down. We were staying at the Poly. I saw a lot of crazy stuff - resorts going into "lock-down" mode, special boxed meals being sold because the restaurants shut down, and a ton of debris flying all over the place among other stuff.

Craziest thing I ever saw at Disney? No line for Splash Mountain!!! Walked right on.

That and the LARGE family staying in the room next to mine at All Star Resorts. Much more than I think was allowed in the room. Each day they would put a small pile of used diapers outside their room door.
