What is the cost to park at Disney World?

We are staying off property and I am wondering whether it makes more sense to use the free shuttle from the hotel or to drive our own car. Any suggestions?

I believe it is 7 or 8 dollars.

If you can swing it, I would take the car. I know it costs, but it is so great to just be able to come and go as you please.

And remember, once you pay to park, it is good all day at any of the parks, as when you park hop.

The curent price for cars is $8.00. This is a "daily" price, so if you leave and return or go to another park the same day as long as you show your receipt there is no addiitonal charge. If anyone in your group has a AP parking is free.

Things to consider from an off-site property.

1. How often does their shuttle run? Some will only run twice in the morning, once at noon time, and twice in the evening.

2. Do they go to all parks or only to the Transportation and Ticket Center? If they only go to the TTC you will have to take Disney Transportation back there to get the shuttle.

3. Does your hotel have a dedicated shuttle? Or do they pick up and drop off from several others? his can have quite an effect on the crowding.

If you are not comfortable with the answers to these questions you are probably better off using your car.
