What is the Chinese/Japanese property near Emerald Island?

Just curious about this property since we drove by it everyday. It's on the corner of Formosa and Funie and is surrounded by high white walls. You can see glimpses of numerous Asian-style buildings. Does anyone know what this is?

It used to be a theme park called Splendid China, but has been closed for a couple of years now - never got to visit unfortunately. There used to be an enormous chinese dragon at the intersection too.

yes I was planning on going too - before they closed it.

it was surported by the Chinese government - that I don't think people knew until it was closed. (I certainly didn't)

Thanks for the replies....I never even thought it might have been an old attraction.
