What is the cheapest way to fly from Miami to Orlando?

Mi MIL and nephew are supposed to travel with us in april, but can´t afford the airplane tickets, since each ticket is about $ 750.

I found an airline that will fly a child for free to the US with the exception of Orlando, so I though the cheapest might be for my MIL to fly to Miami and then pay for both to fly to Orlando.

American Airlines flies from Miami to Orlando but their fares are usually not that good. Usually Fort Lauderdale to Orlando is much cheaper because Southwest flies that route as does Delta (and I think Spirit). But the passengers would have to get from MIA to FLL.
