I've noticed a building near Peter Pan's Flight and Small World that is closed. Does anyone know what it was used for?

Is it a brown bldg up on a hill?

That was the Fantasyland Skyway station. You used to be able to take a Skyride from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland. I hope that's the one you're talking about!

It's usually used as a character greeting location now. I believe Snow White and Dopey usually appear there now, when it's not being used for extra stroller parking for Peter Pan or Small World.

You mean no more skyway ride? The one I'm thinking about begins near the Haunted Mansion (is that by Peter Pan too?) and then lifts people up in like a bucket and takes you through the sky on a cable over the park to the other end. They took this ride down? Or do you speak of something else and I'm completely off?

The skyway ride was dismantled a few years ago. A CM lost his life while working the ride and it was closed shortly thereafter.

I miss the skyway. It was a quiet, tranquil ride that I'd enjoy. I wish theyd bring it back.

You know I forgot all about that ride. I seen it in 94 and i didn't see it this year. I just got the memory of it.
