We had a discussion going here but I can't seem to locate it. Removed maybe? Hmmm Misplaced somewhere else? It was about 30 different cities but I don't want to say too much if truly was removed.

Considering it is being made in NYC, I would guess it has something to do with the Disney store there? Hopefully it more exciting then that though!

The thought is they are finally going to announce Bay Lake Towers, the newest DVC. At least that is what the hope is on the DVC threads. Member Services closed early yesterday for training. This is usually a sign something is going on.

Travel Channel will be showing most of their Disney related programming stating at 2PM. At 8PM they will be showing "Disney's Best Kept Secret", which really isn't a secret anymore.

If you haven't seen any of the TC Disney programs, set the Tivo/DVR.

Kevin- you all the programs with Samantha preserved, right?

Oct 1st is the beginning/end of Disney's fiscal year. There are usually big announcements made around that time (if there is anything to be announced).

Here's what we might hear from Disney within the next 4 weeks.
1. Next year's new celebration/campaign.
2. The announcement of the new tower at the Contemporary
3. A new attraction at Hollywood Studios or one of the other theme parks
4. The long awaited refurb of Space Mountain
5. Possibly an announcement of the Fall/Winter Tour Disney is taking across the U.S.
6. Updates on the progress of existing projects already in progress like Idol.

What is Doorway to Dreams?

Doorway to Dreams is the DVC "store". It is located in Schaumburg, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. It is at the Woodfield Mall. You can go into the store and see a sample room for AKL right now. I'm assuming it will be changed to BLT. You can purchase DVC there. The CMs wear lanyards so you can trade pins, and they have special events that go on every once in a while, also.

I'm hearing that the big announcement will be next year's marketing campaign/celebration. I've heard the name "Magical Celebrations" kicked around; which will encourage guests to celebrate their birthdays, anniversarys, and milestones at Walt Disney World.

There maybe more announcements, but I'm hearing this will be the primary announcement.
