What is the "Beverly"?

We stopped by Ice Station Cool last summer, but I guess we passed by this one. I'm seeing several comments on it, and I'm taking that it's nasty! Is it worth the try? Is it something to trick the kids with, or would that just be too cruel? Sorry if I posted at the wrong place - move it need be!

The beverly coke product is my husbands favorite...it is very bitter...but it works...great palate cleanser.

Ya gotta try it at least once, for the experience!

Agree with webray. Have to try the Beverly at least once. So refreshing, so smooth, so enjoyable (LOL). It will give you memories you won't soon forget.

I would trick someone with it!!!! I tricked my sisters last Fall. It was SO funny!

To be kind, I would call it an acquired taste, and one that I have never acquired. It is interesting to try just once though. It sort of reminded me of carbonated Ny-quil.

It's alot of fun to just sit back and watch the ones that have no clue how nasty it is. The faces that they make are priceless.

Trick the kids into drinking it. The fun is incredible! It ranks up there with putting tape on your cats paws or feeding the dog peanut butter. The fun lasts for ages. Then the fooled person gets to do it to someone else next time.

Beverly belongs in the 9th ring of Hell. It tastes like a combo of Asprin and spit.

During our last trip to WDW, we were w/ DH's band (he's a percussion instructor). DH tricked MANY of his students into drinking the Beverly...and then they tricked many of their friends. LOL! DH loved it! Not the Beverly, but being able to trick his students.

You can find it in Ice Station Cool which is in Epcot ... It's on the west side of the park, just slightly south (walk towards the World Showcase) of Innoventions. You can't miss it... It looks like a giant igloo It's got soft drink flavours from around the world... including Beverly

It's a quinine kind of taste. If you like gin and tonics and the like you might like Beverly. Personally I like it, but I'd prefer to sip it outside under a beach umbrella on a hot summer day rather than down it like a regular sugary soda.

The first couple times I tasted it I didn't like it but as I was standing there watching everyone else I kept getting more and did aquire a taste for it. It is like a strong Tonic water with a fruity flavor.

I'm one of the few who loads up on the stuff when at Ice Station Cool. I acquired a taste for it early when it was served at home.

It's rather funny watching newbies taste it for the first time, especially after all the other choices.

It's a strong quinine flavor with a bit of sweetness. A gin and tonic is a good way to describe it. No alcohol though.

Thanks everyone for your descriptions! I think if I go in there with the "gin & tonic" thought in my mind, I'll be able to handle it!
I was imagining it was something like the jellybeans in Harry Potter with a flavor that you wouldn't even want to think about I will definately try it!

I thought it tasted a lot like novacine, like the shots you get from the dentist. YUCK!!! We had a blast with it though. I got my teen and my mom. We had a so much fun watching people go down the line and then get the Bev. way too funny!!!

This year it's my hubby that's in for a treat!! Pay back for teasing me about my WDW addiction.
