We are planning to stay at the BWV in October of next year. We REALLY would like to stay in a 3 bedroom there. The 11 month window is approaching. Should we/Can we call MS daily? do we need to do this? Or should we wait until we can reserve all at once? How busy is it at the BWV's in October? This would be the Columbus day week. Thank you for any and all input!!!

October is generally a busy time at WDW and all GV's (regardless of resort) go quickly. I'd urge you to call daily right at 11 months.

Good Luck!

You need to call day by day for any chance at all for a GV at the BWV. Especially during October, because it's a lower points season, and therefore very popular with DVCers. We pooled points with a couple of friends to do this one year. I made the ressie and called day by day the minute MS opens. There are only seven GVs in all of BWV. Five are one floor units and two are 2 storey units. When I booked I requested the one floor unit because they are so much more impressive then the up and down...IMHO. The 2 storey unit at BWV has much more of a condo feel to it, while the one story GV at BWV feels like a massive hotel suite. The balcony runs the length of the unit and so it's just huge....and with a spectacular view of the BW....very nice.

Are you looking to go during the Food and Wine Fest? I think it traditionally begins a little later than Columbus Day weekend.

We are not particularly going for the food and wine fest but it would be a nice bonus....we will have 4 kids age 5 and under and we hope to go to MNSSHP....that runs the month of October right????::MickeyMo

Well, the food and wine fest runs from mid-October to mid-November...this year it started Octbober 18th and ends on November 16th.
