Last year, we had a car and drove to Wilderness Lodge and took the boat to Fort Wilderness. If you don't have a car, I would suggest walking to DTD and catching the bus to Ft. Wilderness. You can also catch the bus to MK and take the boat to Ft. Wilderness. There are lots of options, but none of them are quick. Leave lots of time to get there. When we took the boat, we were going to the late show and had to take a bus back to the lodge to get our car. Boat wasn't running any more after the late show.

Similar question. We will be checking out of Pop on 12/25 and moving over to SSR. We have reservations for the Christmas Dinner At The Fort - 2PM show. We will have a rental, so I was going to park at the Wilderness Campground lot and take the internal bus to the Pavillion. Not sure if we are going to check into SSR before or after the Christmas Dinner show.
Do you think that would work?

The Disney transportation does not go directly between resorts. This means you have to go to some type of central location and then transfer.

Since you have a car, your best bet is to drive. Although you'll still have to take some sort of Disney transportation. You can drive to Wilderness Lodge and then take the boat to FW. It's a short walk from the boat dock. You can drive to FW, and then take their internal bus system.

If you don't want to take the car, you can walk to DD and then catch the FW bus. The FW bus drops off fairly close to the HDD theatre.

If your walk from SSR to DD is fairly long, then you might catch an SSR bus to MK and there transfer to the FW boat.

The quickest is probably to drive directly to FW and then use their internal bus system. All the other options leave you at the mercy of catching the right busses/boats. Some of those only run every 20 minutes or so.

In any case, be sure to give yourselves plenty of time.

Ok, since you will have a car the best way is to drive to the FW. Park in the main parking lot.

Slightly over younder from the parking lot you will see a bus stop. Head there and wait for the next bus.

The bus will make several bus stops within the campgrounds (internal bus system) and will eventually end up at the Pioneer Hall.

The Pioneer Hall is where you are headed and is the Home of the Hoop Dee Doo.

Before you get on one of the buses (after parking at the FW parking lot) ask the bus driver to make sure the bus is going to the Pioneer Hall.

Allow about 30 minutes from time of parking at FW to the Pioneer Hall.

From SSR to Pioneer Hall I would give yourself about an hour.

When you get to Pioneer Hall look for one of the CM just outside the doors to the hall and check in.

Yes, even with tickets you need to check in. Then get in line for you picture (if you want to).

Don't forget to pick up your Hoop Dee Doo tickets at SSR before you go.

My advice is drive. Buses are a nightmare when the Party is over.
