What is the best way to get back to WL after an E-ride night? Does anyone have experience with that?

Is the boat still running, or do you have to take the monorail to TTC and then ride a bus? If so, how long does that take, and how late do the buses run?

For those who have participated in the e-ride nights, do you have any tips or strategies that would be helpful to the rest of us? We are planning on starting the day waiting outside the gate at MK. Should we spend the afternoon at another park and then return to the MK just before closing?

Should I worry about the e-ride tickets being sold out? We are only checking in two days before we plan to use it.

If I'm not mistaken, you don't have alot of choice in getting back to the WL after an E-ride night. I don't believe the boats are still running. Your only option is to take either of the monorails to the T&TC, walk around the corner to the left, and catch the bus (Boone?) to the Wilderness Lodge. There is not a direct bus from the Magic Kingdom entrance. The busses generally run an hour after the park closes.
You don't have a choice about buying E-ride tickets in advance. You can't buy them until you check in. You shouldn't have to worry about them being sold out.

The boat is still running after e-ticket nights. We rode it back to FW after the e-ticket on June 28th (I think that was the date).

They will announce as you approach the MK that the last boat will be 45 minutes after the regular park closing, but if you ask they will tell you it will run after the e-ticket.

Have fun!

You can purchase your tickets that morning from the resort lobby. I wouldn't worry too much, as the nights rarely sell out.

I would not plan to be there the whole day, as the afternoon will be getting crowded by people who show up just for e-night.

We got there just in time for the fireworks, but I would suggest getting there before the fireworks so that you don't have to fight the flow of traffic on Main Street getting to the e-night atttractions.

The boat was running the nights we were at E-night also
(late June). E-Ride night was from 11:00-2:00a.m.

Couple of strategies that worked well for us.

We started in TomorrowLand first, riding Buzz 3-4 times
since it is a fast loader. Then went to Space Mountian
once or twice.
Next, we headed over to Pooh, Peter Pan, and Philharmagic.
If a line looked like long, we just skipped it an came back.
Also, if you "just miss" a Philharmagic show, don't wait, go
do Peter Pan or Pooh and come back.

Don't forget the characters are out in front of the castle,
stop by there after an hour or so. We did around 12:30
and were the only ones with all 5 characters(Mickey, Minnie,
Goofy, Chip, Dale, Pluto). My daughters had a blast, they
played "tag" with Chip and Dale in the area for almost 15
minutes before another family came by.
Then, we moved onto Haunted Mansion, and over to Frontier
Land. By this time it was almost 1:00 a.m. Things had thinned
out so much that on Big Thunder they were letting us stay
for multiple rides in a row as long as no one was next in line.
Splash Mt. was also a walk-on.

For us, it made touring the Magic Kingdom MUCH easier knowing
we could save these 8 attractions for E-ride night.

Yes, as others have said, the boat does run but not as long as other transporation. I made the last boat at 2:28 (2:00am enight closing). They literally turned away everyone else as they stop half an hour after closing on enight. Since WL does not have an MK bus, you have to go to Transportation and Ticket Center and than pick up the WL bus.

Enjoy
