What is the best time for characters?

What is the best time of day to do character meet n greets? Is there any point in the day when the wait time is lower?

Specifically, I'm trying to see the princesses at Royal Hall, Tinker Bell at Pixie Hollow, and the new Ariel meet n greet.

The Tinker Bell meet closes rather early in the day and opens late, take that into account. Wait times for Royal Hall usually soar after the shows in Royal Theater let out.

I was just there and the new Ariel is very popular. To ensure meeting her, you need to line up in advance. If you're not in line by the time the meet and greet starts, you probably won't meet her.
