We recently rebooked on board and received the $200 shipboard credit. Now I am about to move the reservation to a TA. (I think it is great Disney lets us do that. :cool1: ) My question is what kind of shipboard credits have others received from TA on top of the $200? Thanks for your input in advance!

You cannot receive a 2nd shipboard credit "on top of" what you already have from DCL ... DCL does not allow "stacking" of shipboard credits, you get one, period ... and I don't think there are any TAs out there offering shipboard credits higher than $200

What you're referring to are the rebates that agencies offer. Here's a link to Dreams rebate chart: DCL Rebate

Since rebates are provided by TAs, they are combineable with whatever offer you have from Cruise Line. :D

Allseas gives a discount/rebate on the cruise price if you assign it to them when you rebook on board. I forget the amount, but it's probably comparable to the Dreams rebate.

We also got $150 onboard credit when we moved our reservation to AAA.

So we got the $200 on board credit from DCL and $150 onboard credit from AAA. Also if you have the Disney Visa card you can also accumulate reward dollars to be used as onboard credit or to apply to the cost of the curise(havent tried this yet but this is what I have been told directly from the rep from Visa).

Thanks for all your quick replys! I guess I meant discount/rebate. As long as it applies to getting money towards the cruise. I have talked to my local AAA and they are going to give me either $150 or possibly $200! :cool1: :cool1: I guess January is there Disney month so you get extra incentives. Oh, I forgot to mention in my original post that this is for a cat. 5, 7 night cruise. I am going to check the Dreams rebate now! Thanks again - I'm just trying to get the best deal. Every penny/dollar helps!

Arlene,
So you got $350 in on board credit? They DID stack it? We transferred our ressie that we made on board to AAA as well, and my TA said I would keep both credits, but now I am just a bit concerned because of the post by ivanova....

Two-foxes, I wouldn't be concerned. As long as it's an agency provided rebate/SBC, it can be combined. When it's a second Disney offer, it can't.

I know, clear as mud, right?

AAA was an exception because they used to offer "freebies" like the soda program for free to their customers....when DCL made soda free to everyone (doing away with the mug program) AAA offered credit instead, and DCL is allowing them to "add" that to any stateroom credit the customer already has (i.e. for rebooking onboard)

Whew! I know $150 won't make or break a cruise, but it sure is nice massage money! Thanks you guys!
