What is the best section/rooms of AsMo?

Just wanting to get some opinions on where people have liked to stay the best in AsMo. Just getting a standard room, not preferred, but what would be the best locations/views.

I'll bump up for you! I just made ressies for ASMo for the last 2 days of our December trip. I did get the preferred rooms, although I'm not sure what the benefits are except that it's closer to the food court. I just requested the Toy Story section since my DS3 is a HUGE Buzz fan.

We are also staying in All Stars Preferred, we requested the Fantasia Building, but hoping its the one with the Socerers Hat as my daughter is scared of Jack in the boxes, lol.

Just so you know, the Toy Story section is NOT preferred. The preferred buildings are Fantasia #5 & #8.

We have always stayed in Toy Story #10 Buzz Lightyear. I think it's actually closer to the foodcourt/busses than Fantasia. All Star Movies Map

I stayed in the Mighty Ducks Section and liked it. We were right near the pool (not the main pool - the one with Goofy in hockey night) and we were close to the parking area. We had to walk a little to get to the food court, but it really wasn't that far.

We were in Toy Story, the Buzz Lightyear building on the backside. It was very quiet, and not a far walk. I think our room # was 0812.

I stayed at the Dalmatians building and really liked it. It was convenient to everything - both pools were about the same distance away, and a short walk to the food court/busses (about the same as Toy Story). Also, on some nights coming back from the parks I got off the bus at Music and walked to my room and made that trip a little shorter.

Thank you so much Sandy. The map puts it all into perspective. The CM was great on the phone, but I had put in my request for the Toy Story section before he asked if I wanted Standard or Preferred. I am definitely gonna call back & switch our ressies to standard view & request the Buzz building.
