We are going to be at Epcot and want to stay for the fireworks and also eat dinner at the same time. Are there any suggestions as to where the best restuarant to eat dinner and watch the fireworks?

None. Illuminations isn't really a "fireworks show". It is a multi-faceted show of lights, sound, water features, projection screens and an occasional fireworks rocket. You really have to be seated or standing around the lake to appreciate it and there are no restaurants that afford you a great view. The best you can do is try to get an outdoor table at Rose & Crown. That is by far the best option and even that is not great, especially since there are so few tables with views. Best to eat and then find a spot around the lake.

The BEST spot is between the 2 merchandise shops around the lake on Future world side (??is this a fast pass spot now? I worked at these shops during my CP and you see ALL the countries and lagoon show). That said-we did Tokyo dining last year-if dinner is finished by then they have spots outside the upstairs restaurant that gives a decent view. Also outside at Mexico will give similar view as Rose and Crown.

I second an outdoor table at Rose and Crown facing the lake. We've made late dinner ADR's here and it's worked out beautifully.

If you're going to do R&C, make your ADR for about an hour before the fireworks are going to start. Anyone who's finishing dinner around that time won't give up their prime viewing seats.

Also, I don't know if they still do this, but our DD was picked to "start" the show the night we ate there. They gave her a flashlight and had her "count down" the last 10 seconds by waving the flashlight.

There is no restaurant with a guaranteed great table view. At both Rose & Crown and La Hacienda, you MAY get a table with a view. However, they no longer allow you to wait for a table with a fireworks view to open up. You take the table they have ready.

I had a R&C ADR for 7:30pm. I thought it was too early but I checked in AT 7:30 and they didn't seat us for a few minutes so the timing was perfect. I've attached a picture or our view from our table. I was very happy with the food, staff and of course the amazing view of Illuminations!
