Wow. Looks like it is overwhelming for AK.... So I will stand out from the crowd and make an argument for HS. When my girls were little, they loved all the shows at HS. Disney Junior, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Muppets, Frozen... (Indiana Jones can be scary for a little one because of the loud noises, but when my daughters got older they really liked it). And of course, HS has the best show in all of WDW: Fantasmic. It, too, can be scary for little ones, though. Depends on how much the child is scared of loud noises and some of the darker characters.
And H&V dinner is a really fun character meal for the little ones.
I know that a lot of people are really down on HS right now because of all the closed areas and construction. But when my kids were that small, the characters, parades, and shows were their favorite things. HS has some good options for entertainment and characters that a little one can really enjoy. Once Toy Story Land opens, it will have even more.
I love AK. It is probably my favorite park, and I am sure little ones love it. The shows are great and so are the animals. Little ones also love The Boneyard. But my older daughter demonstrated little interest in animals when she was young. My younger daughter really did like animals as a baby. So it really depends on the child. I think there is plenty for young children to see and do at both AK and HS so either would be great.
One final thing that could push HS above AK right now is the crowd level. When I was there in July, AK was packed. Pandora is bringing in the crowds. HS had very light crowds. Because there has been nothing new for a while and many things are closed, a lot of people are avoiding HS. I decided to head over one evening to see The Music of Pixar Live and had an absolutely wonderful time because crowds were so low. It was very pleasant being there.
I wouldn't hesitate to take a little one to any of the four parks. There is plenty at all of the to keep their senses active.
