What is the best meal at Chef Mickey's?

I'm trying to plan our ADR's for our August trip, and DD4 has specifically requested CM's. We ate there 3 years ago for breakfast and it was fine, but I'd like to try dinner this trip. After reading a lot of negative reviews, I'm not sure if dinner is a good bet.

Has anyone eaten there recently for dinner and would recommend it?

We've never been to Garden Grill. I may decide to do that one instead. Does anyone know if Mickey and Minnie are both at GG?

We went to Chef Mickey's for the dinner buffet and it was the best food we had all week. Well, second best, Bomas was a bit better. Try the mashed potatoes! It's also so close to MK. Liberty Tree tavern for dinner was the worst.

I eat there for dinner every trip with my family! We would never miss it. And I second the mashed taters! They are yummy and don't forget the make your own sundae too!
