What is the best Character meal for Boys?

The only Character meals we have ever eaten at are CRT and 1900 PF and on our next trip I want us to try something new. My boys are 3 and 9 and were looking for something that will satisfy them both. I would prefer dinner but would consider breakfast or lunch. I was thinking about Chef Mickey’s, how is the quality of food and selection? Am I right on thinking that we can get to the Contempory from Magic Kingdom via Monorail? None of us are particularly fussy eaters but I thought a buffet would be the safer option

I would say liberty tree tavern or chef mickeys

Our boys enjoyed Ohanas for breakfast with Stitch and Chef Mickey's for dinner.

If he's preschool age, he might like the meal at Hollywood and Vine with Little Einsteins and Jojo and Goliath.

I agree that Chef Mickey's is great for boys. Ohana's and Liberty tree are great as well. Both dinner and breakfast at Chef Mickey are great. The food is awesome and the character interaction is the best of any meal. Yes you get there via Monorail from the Magic Kingdom.
Also you may wat to consider Crystal Palace if your boys like the Pooh characters. The food is also good, however we prefer their breakfast.

You might think the 9 year old is too old for Pooh characters at the Crystal Palace, but wait until he meets them. The smiles just don't stop. Especially with Tigger!!

Ohana's with Stitch Mickey and Goofy is my 12 yo ds's favorite, but that is only a breakfast.

I think you can't go wrong with Chef Mickey's.

Donald's Breakfastsaurus is great for boys as well, with the heavy dino atmosphere. Probably at the lower tier food wise, but still really good IMO. I wouldnt choose it over Chef Mickey's or Ohana, but its the most heavily boy one that I have been to.
