What is the best beer you can try at EPCOT WORLD SHOWCASE?

DH would like to sample some of the beer at Epcot. Was wondering which ones he should most definitely try and at what country?

My fave is Guinness. Yes, he's probably had it before, but they go through so much at R&C that it is so much fresher than anywhere else I've had it that it is amazing.

I suggest a Black and Tan @ Rose and Crown, and Spaten in Germany. Also, if you are arriving in October, there will be additional beer options from the Food and Wine festival.

I don't mind staying with American beers as long as there is Sam Adams, and so many different varities, I like trying the Sam Adams special brew for each Food and Wine Festival. Then I head to Germany and England.

Tennents at the R&C if they have it, for a few years they didn't carry it but we were there twice in 2009 and enjoyed it both times. That's what Carl is serving up.

Not that great a selection IMO.

They usually have an Oktoberfest in Germany as long as you are there in Sept/Oct that is good.

The Guinness is good in the R&C pub, I assume this is because they keep the pipes very clean.

During the F&W your will get a few more options at the beer booth, a few of them your rarely see on tap like Pilsner Urquel.

Purple Haze is good.
I do not recall any really bad beers, other than the Guinness from the Ireland booth.
They did not do a good job at all with the Guinness last year.

Now that good beer is so popular it would be nice if they added a few more options.

We have several pubs in our area that have over 30 quality draft beers on tap.
A couple of cask conditioned and 100+ bottled beers as well.

I do not expect Disney to match that, but it would be nice if they had a few more options.
Every restaurant has a good wine list, they can have a good beer list as well.



BTW: If you walk over to Boardwalk there is a brew pub and I think you can get a flight of several beers they brew to try.
I have heard the beer is good, but I have not tried it yet.

For a "World Showcase," the beer selection is pathetic. I mean, it's an absolute insult.

During F&W, the Sam Adams F&W Festival beer was awesome a few years ago.

My husband likes the beer in Le Cellier - not sure if you can get it outside of the restaurant - La Fin du Monde.

unibroue beers are some of our favorites - it's a shame you can only get them at Le Cellier.

Hands down La fin du Monde in Canada!!! It is one of my favorite beers outside the world.

Yes, we buy it locally at home - I just meant I didn't know if at Epcot you could get it at any stands or not, I think not based on what oybolshoi posted.

Great beer, but remember that La fin du Monde translates to 'the end of the world', and at 9% alclohol, it's put a sudden to my evening at Epcot on more than one occasion.
