Ive been reading threads about families of 5 staying onsite and paying through the nose, we are a family of 5 and have kids 2,4 and 13, I'm looking for the best onstie value but prefer a non value hotel. :confused3 I really dont want to stay offsite, any info?

I don't know about now, but years ago, with three kids, we stayed at the FW Cabins and we loved it. For one thing, putting the kids to bed in a seperate room, while we stayed up and watched TV; getting up and eating breakfast there-saved money. All the amenities of a hotel room.

Port Orleans Riverside in the Alligator Bayou area is the cheapest onsite resort that will sleep 5. It's a moderate hotel. It's got a trundle bed that pulls out.

The only discounts for room only would probably be AAA (you can call Disney direct and find out if it's available) or an Annual Passholder rate on the room.

Good luck.

With a child under three you can stay at any of the resorts @ DW in a stndard room. Once that child is three, you are more limited. See above.

I have absolutely no idea how much rooms are these days, but several years ago we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in a room that had a queen bed + a bunk bed. maybe you, your spouse, & 2 year old in the queen bed & the other 2 kids in the bunk beds? not sure how you feel about sharing the bed with your youngest but I know alot of families do at home every once in awhile.

I agree, with a DD under 3, you are really just a party of 4. You can stay at any resort you like. Although, when your child turns 3 you will have to worry about it. You could then stay at Port Orleans Riverside in the Alligator Bayou section that has the trundle bed.

We only have 2 kids (and both girls so they don't mind sleeping in same bed) so its not an issue for us. But if I had 3 kids, I would probably stay offsite in a suite. I couldn't justify the cost of the expensive deluxes.

you are definitely a party of 4 with one child under 3...

I would go with Pop Century. It is cute. Enough to entertain your kids, plus full of memories for Mom and Dad.

it is a value resort so cheap as possible.

2 double beds. the hotel will provide you with a crib for your baby.
