What is the average AP rate for OKW?

I was looking at the Old Key West 2-Bedroom Villa it is $479 a night in Value season and I would love to stay there... are they usually cut in half? if not then There is no way that I can get it.. lol.. but hey I can dream!! I was going to stay at the FW cabins, but this looks really nice!

Rent points from the DVC rent/trade board. We did this for OKW and it was great. Points usually run about $10 and your point total is all tx included.
I checked and for value season a 2 bedroom is 22 points(sun-thurs, weekends are much higher). 22x $10 = $220/night.

$220 is not bad... where do you find that amount and how do you rent points? sorry... I just have not heard of this before..

Go to the DVC rent trade board. At the top you will see a section for points charts. That tells you all the points you will need for your stay. You could also use points calculator. The thread is fill with people will to rent out their points. There is trust involved but many including myself have rented without any problems.

THere were a few rooms at 166. but I dont know for how Long.

we have rented 3 DVC points 3 times now and find it an amazing bargain. Its kind of overwhelming to figure out the process for the first time and there certainly is a lot of trust involved, but we have had no issues and have dealt with 3 different sets of people to rent these points. If you are sure of your dates, you can post a question on the rent/trade forum to ask if anyone can check your dates at OKW for the # of points you would need. Good Luck! Jo

You might also want to check if $166 was for a 2 bedroom. It would be a great rate if it was but I don't think this will be the case.
