Just wondering what the cut off is for a child's meal at WDW??

Thanks

For restaurants with a set price such as buffets, the oldest a child can be for the child price is 11. At age 12 they are charged the same as an adult. However at restaurants where you order off of a menu my daughter frequently asks for the child's menu and it is never a problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks my DD will turn 12 on this trip and she eats like a bird (basically why we stay away from dinner buffets!!) We will be doing the 2 buffets before she turns 12 and then restaurants that order off the menu!!!

rbuzzotta, thats why I'm confused over Le Cellier. You order off the menu. It seems common practice for people to order of the kids menu at most places. However my question is a little different since it is related to the CandleLight Processional but I still am having trouble with the general conception of it being okay to order off the kids menu any other time. But I will go with what Disney Dining says and not worry about it.

The buffet price is set in stone. He turned 12 this last Dec on our trip and we held our buffets to 2 after the big day. I believe he was $23.95 at Boma and $21.95 at Cape May Cafe.

I've never been to the CP, but the perception I have is that you are not just paying for the meal, but for the event as well. That would mean that you are paying child's price for the non-food part as well as for the dinner.

If Disney says it is OK, then there is no room for argument, because it is their party.

DisneyVillain I have always understood the event to be free. The only advantage is the reserved seating, you don't have to wait in line for it. Well you do but not as long as the non-package people.

If your the least bit interested and down at the world during the holidays you should give it a looksy, its really quite wonderful.
