I've seen code YVA on the boards. It that to get an upgrade to a AAA package?

I got my upgrade from my AAA agent with YVA, i asked her what code she used ,and she said this one was just like the other codes ,but was used for AAA agents for this package. I Hope this Helps ! Off to the Dentist .

Thanks, When I called my agent earlier, he said there was nothing. But my agent doesn't know very much about Disney. I called him back and told him to try code YVA. I hope it works. So now I'm just waiting for a call back.

I tried to add it to a clients package and it upped the price by 200 dollars...not worth it at all!

I think it is worth it if the person was going to pay for those things anyway. Because if they booked in 2005 without hopping and water parks, then of course, rebooking at the 2006 rate will make their price go up. But they get a lot more stuff.

If I had booked a bare bones package, but for $200 could upgrade everyone to hoppers/premium passes, I'd consider it. It would depend on the # in my party and the # of days.

Are you talking about the ticket upgrade code? I tried it on two clients packages and it would have increased the price higher than the AAA discount rate- not really worth it.

I was told by my AAA agent that you couldn't have the AAA Disney package rate and have the free ticket upgrade. Has anybody heard different?

My agent still hasn't called me back. This is my first time booking with AAA, I'm used to doing everything myself. I guess I have to get used to waiting.

Like I said, I too am an AAA TA and I just dont see the benefit. Any of the clients you deal with have this work to their advantage? Just curious to see if it does come out better.

I still haven't heard from my TA. It's now over 24 hours since I called. I know I have to be patient, I'm just not used to giving up control. And I'm used to getting quick answers. :scratchin

We used the code and got the free upgrade on the tickets. However, we lost the AAA room discount. Since the room discount was only about $100 for us, the ticket upgrade was a better deal ($300+) savings. We still get to keep the other AAA benefits, though.

My AAA agent told me the YVA code was for Disney Visa, and it didn't save me any $. I did lose my AAA room discount, but got the upgrade for $101 (6 nights at POR, 2 adults, 1 youth, 2 kids). It's worth it to me because my family really wanted to do Disney Quest and the park hopper addition will be nice.

I agree with both of you (Ilovestitch and skbassnett1977)! I tried changing some of my clients packages and it really increased the price! I had one person that almost changed her package, but her hotel wasn't available so she didn't do it. But it is more money...I don't see much savings with this new package...

IMO, seems to me that if you booked a package in 2005 for 2006, and paid extra for Hopper/Water Parks, that rate is possibly better than new code if staying at a Deluxe. If staying at a Value, this new code may be better if you want Hopper and Water/Quest.

What it comes down to is that they are not offering the AAA discount and the free upgrade (you all know this). For some, it will work to their advantage, for others, it may cost more. It just depends on what you want more.

The code worked to our advantage. Granted, we're doing an unusual trip where we're mainly visiting the waterparks. I had a room only ressie at Pop Century and we were going to buy one day tickets with waterparks added on. Even with a one day ticket, you get 3 admissions to plus activities. Without the code our package would have run about $999, with the code, our total is now $652! And, we get to park hop on the one park day. Now that's a deal!

Okay you have peaked my curiousity with this one. Do I understand it right that you get 3 admissions with a 1 day non-hopper park ticket?

We got 1 day tickets added to room #1 so we could get the meal plan. Everyone in room #1 has passes already. We were going to use the 4 1-day nonhoppers for one of the persons in room #2. We have done this before and it works fine.

We do have some extra time this trip and we are really thinking of trying a water park. Now is where this gets complicated. If person from room #2 uses the room key pass to enter a park, can someone from room #1 use that same room key to enter a water park or Disney Quest?

We are booked through AAA and we cannot seem to get the new code deal but we are wondering if it would be worth it to drop the AAA discount and use the code.

Anyone have any idea how enterance into the water parks works? Is in biometrically coded into the roo key ticket like at the parks or will the water parks be a separate thing? :scratchin

I am trying to remember if they were biometric or not, and I can't. Anyone with better memory than me?
