What is taxed?

Are all meals (QS and TS) taxed? All drinks? etc. What is the percentage of tax? Are snacks at carts taxed?

I'm trying to figure out if the dining plan is worth it for us.

Are you asking if you'll have to pay the tax when you use a credit? I asked that question and someone said no. I'd love more confirmation though, as I've never used a dining plan before.

All food and beverage items will have a 6.5% sales tax added to them. The DDP (in all its forms) already includes taxes in the quoted package price; you will not need to pay extra taxes (unless you order something OOP, of course).

Been on the DDP 4 times now and the tax is cover in the credit, TS,CS and Snack. What you do have to pay for now is the tip for the TS, this is no longer covered. Any extras like getting an app or beer this is taxed.

Thanks, guys. I knew the tax was included. I'm trying to calculate if the dining plan would be worth it or if we should just pay OOP. (Looking to be like it won't be worth it because we are definitely not dessert people).

Rachel, I did the math for the QSDP. I added up what I would normally buy, and it came out about $30/day which is the cost. So, for me, the mugs (which I would buy) would be free. Then, I would also end up with all the desserts and snacks I wouldn't normally buy. I did hear that at some places, you could have a bottle of water instead of the dessert, which would make that value even higher. Since I am solo this time and cannot share, I don't think it's as big a saving as a family would get if they could share some of the larger CS meals. I may still try it, but it's not a huge money savings for me. First time in my life I've ever been accused of not eating enough!

Tax is quiet high you should have lots of money with you which is sometime not possible we went to Disney in the Christmas & that time we had lots of problem with taxes we were not having money at that time & then you can imagine very well ...............
