We are arriving at the FWC in just 10 days and, although not guaranteed, I was going to fax the resort with our Cabin Preferences:)

I therefore came to thinking the Cabins in Loop 100 which are often classed on the Board as reserved for VIP's, what is so good about them?

I understand that they are close to the Marina but in light of all the cabins now been refurbed, is there any true benefit in staying in Loop 100:confused3 have these Cabins even been included within the refurb program.

Would love your thought guys:thumbsup2

Probably no real benefit other than the location, a couple of rocking chairs on the porch, and a stone grill. The attraction is mainly because of the novelty of these two cabins being in a camping loop. Otherwise, inside, these cabins are the same as all of the rest.

Something to consider about the "vip cabins" is though very close to the marina and trails end, they are the farthest from the outpost (where all the buses to the parks and downtown disney are located)

We requested them and we were DENIED (in the defense of the CMs the 100 loop was being repaved) We were given cabin 2505 and loved it!!!
outpost two-three minutes by golf cart, settlement 7 minutes, and the meadows about 5 .

I had read about the Disney Executive/VIP cabins in loop 100 and had to check them out for myself last week. Other than having a slightly different outside layout (rocking chairs/concrete slab/connecting patio area between with 1 outdoor stone looking grill) the 2 cabins look like the rest of them. Location? Well they may be close to restaurants/marina area but I would absolutely hate having all the traffic walking past us since the cabins sit close to the marina path. No privacy IMHO. I also could not see any water from the cabins like I thought I could. It is a convienience if you plan on taking the boats everyday otherwise you will be far away (opposite end of the resort) from main buses.

We stayed in back end of loop 2300. It was a private, beautiful, quiet lot with green grass and a creek in back. We really enjoy the relaxing golf cart drive at night. Saw many deer, frogs, and a few armadillos on the way to our loop. Wonderful!

The cabin loops have a pool close by. The 100 loop cabins do not. If you don't have a cart or a bike and you don't like walking. The 2 cabins in the 100 loop put you closer to a place to eat, the beach, and a place to shop. But it will take longer to get out of FW then if you stay in the cabin loops. But the odds of getting the 100 loop is slim. It can be hard to get in with a trailer.
