If I can, I don't want to bring my passport to the park. Will Canadian Driver's License be enough?

As long as it has your photo on it, your Canadian license wil be plenty.

I am cautiously suggesting making and carrying in your car a complete photocopy set (color if the original is in color) of your passport, for use as a second picture ID where needed.
