What is Photopass?

I have been reading quite a few threads that are mentioning photopass. Could someone please tell me what it actually is? Thank you.

The parks are full of Photopass photographers. Basically, they will take your picture with thier cameras. THe first picture you get they will give you a photopass card. On the card is a number on the back. The next photopass photographer you find to take you picture you give them that card they swipe. It all at no cost. You use the card your entire trip. When you get home you go on the Disney photopass website, punch in the code on the back and all your picture will be there that the photographers took. You then have different options to edit, purchase, add borders, buy the CD, make a photo movie or book. The photo's on online I think for 30 days after your trip.

Tip: Don't lose the photopass card. Write down the code when you get back to your room or take a picture of it on your own camera. If you loose it you wont see your picture.
